1. Choose either to create a new article or optimize an existing article.
2. Choose the language to write with and the location (country) to optimize for SEO in.
3. Then, enter a focus keyword. Your focus keyword is what GrowthBar will use to optimize your article. The focus keyword is the keyword you would like to rank for. It can be anything you want and it can be in over 20 languages.
4. Next, you’ll enter your website (if you’re writing a new article) or the exact page URL (if you’re optimizing an existing article). Press “submit” and GrowthBar’s powerful AI will go to work.
5. GrowthBar will now scrape hundreds of results in the Google search engine results page (SERP) and simultaneously surface a natural language title and introduction. Before resolving, you will see the 2-Minute First Draft Builder appear. You can drag-and-drop headlines and press “next step,” and GrowthBar will create some bullet points for those headlines. Edit the bullet points to your satisfaction and click “next step” again. GrowthBar will then create a 1,500 word blog post for you!
6. Whether you use the 2-Minute First Draft Builder or the classic text editor, you can start by dragging and dropping Headlines into your article. Headlines are pulled from competitor posts, common Google searches, and of course, natural language AI.
7. Notice as you add elements to your article GrowthBar will begin highlighting keywords, counting your words, calculating a readability score, and more. All of those elements are attributes of a top-ranking blog post. Try to follow GrowthBar’s recommendations. If you do so, you’ll notice the green bar at the top of the page starts to rise. The best blog posts usually have a score of 75%+.
8. Use the “Write with AI” button anywhere in your article to get paragraph after paragraph of plagiarism-free content. Use the 🪄 (magic wand) button next to “Write with AI.” That will open up the advanced AI writing menu. Click any function in the menu to execute a writing command.
9. As you write, you’ll notice GrowthBar making other suggestions in the form of blue underlines. GrowthBar is able to scan your post and make recommendations about internal linking opportunities and keyword usage.
